Home'Bank, the e-banking version
developed by ING to meet the needs of private
individuals.
Home'Bank Plus, the e-banking
version developed by ING to meet the needs of business
professionals.
With just one subscription, you easily switch
from one structure to another. Separating the management of your
private accounts and business accounts and restricting access by
your staff to just your business accounts, for example, is entirely
feasible.
You can opt to install the software and
security module on a single PC.
Installing the complete version of the security
model provides you access to the off- and online services from this
PC. You enter your transactions using the offline services and then
set up an Internet session to submit your data.
Security: the complete security module has to be installed on
your PC.
Installing the light version of the security module only provides
you access to the online services through the
www.ing.be/homebank web site.
You're using the ING Digipass:
You don't have to install anything on your PC.
To identify yourself and each transaction, your
Digipass calculates a unique electronic
signature that you need to enter in Home'Bank Plus. Your
transaction is hence fully protected.
There is nothing to stop you using both
options, which are equally secured. For example, you can install
the programme at home and in the office and when you move from one
to the other, you just take your Digipass with you.
You have options that are fully aligned to your
business needs.
Making payments that require several signatures.
You will find this option useful if you are required, by the nature
of your business, to lodge funds on a consignment account.
Higher transaction limits: up to 500,000 euro
each week.
Roaming function: You can use your
ING Digipass to check your accounts and sign
your payments in complete security from any PC with an Internet
connection anywhere in the world, without having to install the
programme on that PC.
As an ING Privalis customer, you have two extra
options and an additional two services within the Home'Bank Plus
structure.
The ING Privalis option, especially
designed for the legal professions, makes it possible to:
make journal entries. This user-friendly
reporting tool allows you to draw up documents (in pdf format) that
can be provided to third parties;
open and close sub-accounts. Just fill in your
application using the Home'Bank Plus online services, approve it
and send it electronically.
The Business option, which allows you to
receive ING files (in CODA format) compatible with your accounting
software. You can monitor your account movements and submit files
to ING containing transactions to be performed by the bank (CIRI
format).
Management of local users. You can limit
local users and decide about the module(s), account(s) and credit
card(s) to which each individual local user has access and the
information that they can change. These local users cannot, under
any circumstances, obtain access to the ING servers.
Example: a lawyer establishes his secretary as a local user and
only gives her access to his business accounts and limits her
authorisation rights to credit transfer entry.
The budget module. Home'Bank Plus offline
services offer new accounting sub-headings tailored to the
professional activities of its Privalis customers. These
sub-headings are specific to legal accounting and can be used to
facilitate analysis and management of accounting relating to your
banking transactions. (You can also create full account
headings.)
Analyse your budget, allocate expenses and
income to account headings (payroll, rent, etc.) that you are
predetermined or that you have created to meet your needs.
This last feature simplifies income and expenditure management. You
receive an itemised breakdown of your income and expenditure by
item (e.g., Car) and per accounting item (e.g., Insurance). It is
also possible to view trends in chart form.
N.B. These data are installed on your PC. To have the latest
information, you will need to launch the task list.
Search for account movements based on a date,
an amount, a reference, etc.
Export operations into Excel, for example, for
future processing.
You can also create fictitious accounting
headings in the Budget module and enter fictitious movements.
